Gay.Com To Offer Online Video

Gay.com (http://www.gay.com), says it has teamed up with In The Life,a gay and lesbian television newsmagazine, and to offer streaming audio and videostarting February 2000.

In The Life (http://www.inthelifetv.org), is aired on over 120 public television stations, and is presented by public station Thirteen/WNET in New York.

.Gay.com, one of the largest gay/lesbian community sites, says it will launch a new multimedia center that will have audio and video highlights from In the Life's latestepisode.

Morgan Gwenwald, Executive Director of In the Life, puts the newpartnership in perspective: "We have received numerous emails from peoplearound the world who lament that they cannot enjoy our broadcasts. Even in theU.S., public stations in twenty states still will not schedule In the Life aswe are deemed too 'controversial.' With video on Gay.com, we will now be ableto give people who can't see In the Life a taste of our program."
