Excalibur Teams With Exodus

Excalibur ( http://www.excalib.com) announced that it has teamed with Exodus Communications and joined its "alliance program" to offer customers solutions consisting of Excalibur Screening Room, Excalibur's video content management product. The product will be hosted at Exodus' data center in Santa Clara, California.

Screening Room is a web-based solution for real-time capture, analysis, cataloguing, browsing, searching, retrieving and publishing of video. It enables video content management that allow users to access, index, catalogue, browse, search, and retrieve new and archived video.

"Searchable video content is rapidly becoming a critical tool as advanced e-businesses and large organizations begin to realize the power of video content in commerce-driven businesses and large media-rich organizations," said Ellen M. Hancock, president and CEO of Exodus. "Through our Partnering for Success program, Excalibur Screening Room can now be efficiently accessed and managed by customers via Exodus' advanced hosting services."

Excalibur recently announced a new software architecture, called "ASPenVM" (Application Service Provider (ASP) Enabled Network for Video Management), which allows Excalibur partners to create video management networks.
