FVC.COM Appoints Vice President

FVC.COM (http://www.fvc.com) said that it named Ruth Cox as vice president of business development.

Cox will spearhead a major expansion of FVC.COM's services as they prepare to roll out two-way video services over the Internet.

Cox joins FVC.COM from Vertel, a provider of carrier-grade managementsoftware and services. In her position as vice president of marketing developed, she was responsible for changing the direction of the company's offerings. She also held executive positions in Fortune 500 companies, such as Hewlett-Packard, Oracle and Tandem Computers (now Compaq).
