Audible Announces Two New Management Hires

Audible (http://www.audible.com) announced today two recent additions to its management team.

Sal Giangrasso, recently Managing Editor of the Wall Street Journal Radio Networks, was named Senior Director and Managing Editor. He will be directly responsible for managing the expansion of day-to-day audio production operations for Audible's newspaper and periodical audio digests.

David Simpson was named Director of Business Development and will be responsible for developing content delivery platforms for the automotive and wireless markets. He joins Audible from Bell Atlantic where most recently he served as Senior Manager - Business E-Commerce strategy. Simpson is the inventor of a patent-pending technology for the wireless delivery of synthesized speech from text.
