Multi-Platform Network Xtreme Video Announces New Hires, New Creator, and Investment in 360-Degree VR Content

GREGG BYWALSKI JOINS XTREME VIDEO TO LEAD US EXPANSION AND HIRES DAN AUFHAUSER.

San Diego, CA(21 Jun 2016)

XTreme Video, the leading Multi Platform Network for extreme athletes and creators with over 135 million views each month and 50 million social followers, announces the hire of two key executives to further expand its North American business and the introduction of YouTube’s top BMX creator, Adam LZ, to its network.    Heading into VidCon 2016, the company also announces it will amplify investment in creating 4K and 360 VR original content with its creators and brands.  

Executive Hires

Gregg Bywalski joins the company as a General Manager of XTreme Enterprise, the holding group for XTreme Video, and is leading development of the company’s US presence in addition to managing all media activities including marketing, communications and digitalization. Dan Aufhauser, who will be headquarted in San Diego and was recruited by Bywalski, also joins as Director of Media and Business Development for the US market, responsible for establishing brand content partnerships, developing the digital advertising business, and implementing marketing-sponsorship campaigns. 

Bywalski comes to XTreme Video from AB Group, one of Europe's most influential TV groups, after 14 successful years within senior management. At AB, Gregg was the driving force behind AB’s digital channels, launched a successful advertising sales house, REGIS, and introduced TV programs such as Poker (WSOP, WPT), Mixed Martial Arts (UFC, BELLATOR), Wrestling (WWE) and Golf (GOLF CHANNEL) to French speaking TV audiences.  Aufhauser’s experience includes 15 years of establishing media, technology, and entertainment partnerships with companies such as Google, Starbucks, Starwood Resorts, and GoPro. 

After building a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East and Asia with offices in Biarritz, Dubai, London, Paris and Shenzhen, XTreme Video is focusing in 2016 on building its North American team, where it represents many of the top US creators and brand clients including LA-based Monster Energy. 

4K AND 360 VR ORIGINAL CONTENT PROGRAMMING

XTreme Video is investing in ramping up production of its original 4K content and 360° VR programming in 2016. The company is currently working to bring more 360° VR experiences to audiences through partnerships with network talent and media companies, including Satori Factory (SpeedFlying / Freeflying), Christopher Chann (Skateboarding),  FISE (European extreme sports events), SFR Sports (Telecommunications Company), among others.

ADAM LZ – LEADING BMX YOUTUBE VLOGGER JOINS XTREME VIDEO NETWORK

XTreme Video is excited to welcome one of the most popular extreme athletes on YouTube, Adam LZ, into its multi-platform network. Based in Florida, Adam began his BMX channel 7 years ago and grew it into one of the most followed BMX, Drift and lifestyle vlogger channels on YouTube with nearly 1 million subscribers.
