AmericaFree.TV Launches Internet Music Video Channel

AmericaFree.TV announced today the launch of a HD Internet broadcast channel dedicated to music videos. This channel will air Music Videos to the global AmericaFree.TV audience for no charge.

Clifton, Virginia(07 May 2009)

AmericaFree.TV LLC (AFTV), a leading Internet Television broadcaster, announced today the launch of a HD Internet broadcast channel dedicated to music videos. The AmericaFree.TV MusicFree.TV channel airs music videos from all over the globe and the network is seeking more music videos in all genres.

“AmericaFree.TV is happy to be able to bring our audience a new source of musical content,” said Marshall Eubanks, CEO of AFTV. “I invite musical acts of all genres, and their management, to contact us about contributing content for consideration on this channel. We are launching with exciting music videos from great bands such as Pralay, from India, ShudderWall, from France, Outstars, from Ukraine and New Nobility from Austria. We are also pleased to air American talent such as Overkill, Mr. Anonymous and the Slum Peasants, together with classic ‘Mojo Working’ concerts.”

AmericaFree.TV has over 6 years of broadcast experience, has attracted over 15 million unique visitors to the site to date and is actively seeking  to expand its audience by acquiring and offering new content. “We feel that music video is a natural for Internet Television,” added Mike Smith, CMO for AmericaFree.TV.  “In the classic days of music television, you could just turn on the TV and see music videos. The cable channels have gotten away from that, and we are pleased  to offer a return to original music video concept.”

The first song to air on the new music channel was “Discotheque” by Mr. Anonymous (Jeep MacNichol), formerly of The Samples. Mojo Working program, from Gravity Unlimited, will highlight classic rock, blues and funk performances from artists ranging from Celia Cruz to John Lennon. Most of these concerts have not been aired for decades, and some have never been aired on broadcast television. Mojo Working will be opening with George Clinton and the full Mothership Connection, Parliament / Funkadelic in a classic show.
