Bode Animation Offers Startups a Deal on Animated Videos

In an interesting sign of how accessible online video is becoming, a deal-of-the-day site is now offering buyers a custom animated video. The site is Greatlance.com, which helps freelancers find paying jobs. The deal, from Bode Animation, is for a 60-second video for $250. As of this writing, it should be valid for two more days.

The deal page lists several samples of Bode Animation's work, and we've embedded one below. They're all colorful and enjoyable to watch. The deal pitches them to startup companies to use as a calling card, but certainly anyone could buy one.

Bode Animation is a part of Bode Solutions, a software services company based in Coimbatore, India. The company doesn't list prices on its site, so there's no way of knowing if $250 is really a 75 percent discount on its asking price. It's not a bad price. Any buyers should carefully examine their script beforehand, though, because the Bode Animation videos are riddled with grammatical errors.

This is another sign that good quality video is coming down in price, and that companies can get a decent basic video for not a lot of money. Two weeks ago this site looked at WebMovieMaker.com, a Danish site that offers template-created videos starting at $9. For companies looking to make an impression on a limited budget, these low prices should be welcome.
