Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Partners with iCast

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) and iCast have entered into a strategic alliance to migrate much of ATAS' membership services and exclusive content to iCast.com.

iCast will help ATAS migrate its membership services online, and in return receive access to a range of opportunities to leverage and promote ATAS content, events and community activities on iCast.com. The strategic alliance kicks off with iCast getting first-hand access to the Emmy Awards nominees, which are simultaneously available at www.emmys.org and iCast.com.

"ICast's focus on community development and artist promotion, and its experience with the latest in Web technologies will greatly improve the interaction and communication with and between ATAS members," said ATAS president Jim Chabin.

Additionally, iCast will work with ATAS to deliver new Web-based services to ATAS' 26 professional peer groups. By providing newinteractive services to its members, iCast will have exclusive access to ATAS' community and original content, as well as rights to Webcast events.
