LTN appoints Bryan McGuirk as Chief Revenue Officer to drive global IP distribution leadership

McGuirk to lead growth strategy and success for media and sports customers navigating the satellite-to-IP transformation

Columbia, Maryland(09 Sep 2025)

LTN today announced the promotion of Bryan McGuirk as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). McGuirk will drive the company’s global growth and strengthen LTN’s leadership in IP-based distribution as the industry moves swiftly away from satellite — powering customer success by enabling the rapid, cost-effective transition to LTN’s purpose-built IP network for video.

McGuirk brings over 30 years of commercial leadership experience in the telecommunications, satellite, and media sectors. His career spans executive roles at LTN, SES S.A., Globecomm, NBCU and Warner Bros. (Turner Broadcasting), with proven success guiding businesses through periods of high-stakes industry change.

“Bryan’s appointment comes at a critical inflection point for our industry,” said Malik Khan, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of LTN. “As regulatory changes reshape the future of satellite capacity and content owners seek smarter, more scalable, and agile ways to reach audiences, LTN’s purpose-built IP network has become the clear choice for future-focused broadcasters and sports organizations. Bryan’s expertise, strategic insight, and deep industry relationships make him an ideal leader to drive our next phase of innovation and expansion.”

The appointment comes as North American broadcasters face increasing urgency to transition away from satellite. Auctions mandated to repurpose at least 100 MHz of Upper C-Band spectrum — building on the 2021 and 2023 auctions that reallocated 60% of C-Band — are set to place new constraints on satellite-based video distribution. Sports networks and media companies carrying the most technically demanding, mission-critical live content must act now to avoid operational disruption and future-proof their workflows.

“The broadcasting industry is at a turning point,” said McGuirk. “Regulatory shifts are accelerating the reduction of satellite capacity, and industry players are looking for solutions. LTN has already built the infrastructure, interoperable technology, and managed services to help the world’s leading broadcasters and sports leagues succeed in this new era. I’m excited to be fueling LTN’s next phase of growth in this fast-moving, IP-first future.”

As Chief Commercial Officer at Stingray Advertising, McGuirk expanded retail audio ad networks across 21,000+ locations. His leadership at SES S.A. as President of Media and Enterprise Services was marked by the launching of 13 new satellites and innovative products such as HITS Quantum HD and HD PRIME satellites.

LTN’s IP distribution footprint surged 200% in 2025, now reaching 98% of North American pay-TV households. With major networks like Tennis Channel, TelevisaUnivision, Scripps, and MSG Networks already transitioning from satellite to IP, LTN has been proven to provide the fully managed migration pathways, regional customization, and satellite-grade reliability media organizations need to future-proof their distribution strategies.

McGuirk holds a BA in Economics from Union College and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He served on the boards of the Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI), SES Americom, and the T. Howard Foundation.
