Biographical Information

Tim Pearson

Vice President, Global Product Marketing & Strategic Alliances at NAGRAVISION

Tim drives various market development, solution, and partner marketing activities for NAGRAVISION, the media and entertainment technology division of the Kudelski Group.
His areas of focus include next generation content protection, streaming security, OTT streaming, watermarking, anti-piracy, broadcast and AI-enabled consumer engagement. Prior to his current role, he held senior product management roles focussing on go-to-market strategies and business management/ pricing.
In a career spanning 30+ years, he started in technical consultancy, working with cable, telco and transport providers looking to manage their networks via digital mapping solutions. He then joined Hutchison 3G and was part of the team that launched 3 UK in a variety of product management roles that included delivering the world’s first live streaming event over a 3G network. He then joined Wanadoo focusing on IPTV – a role that would later see him promoted to Director of digital TV at Orange with responsibility for the early national trials of the solution. Prior to NAGRAVISION, Tim was at Red Bee Media looking at content management automation, content discovery and how broadcasters could adopt online video platforms.
Tim holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from the University of Keele, UK. In his spare time, he enjoys getting out into the outdoors, climbing mountains such as Kilimanjaro and competing in local sailing competitions in both the UK and Greece.
