NAB Report: Dyyno Launches TV Everywhere Solution

Video portal provider Dyyno already offers an easy option for content owners to create Roku channels, and today at NAB it's announcing an expansion of that service, one that lets content owners stream to iPads, Samsung Galaxy mobiles and smart TVs, Android tablets and set-top boxes, and Sony Google TVs and smartphones. Its TV everywhere service can be launched quicker than competing solutions, asserts Dyyno, saying that content owners can be up and running in only a day. Large content aggregators and cable operators will likely want to take four to eight weeks, it notes, which it says is the fastest time-to-market.

Dyyno's TV Everywhere solution is entirely cloud-based. Clients will use video metadata to automatically populate their channels. Included in the system is a billing platform that works across all devices. Content owners can offer subscriptions, ads, pay-per-view titles, or any combination of those three.

The solution is available starting today. Dyyno charges a one-time fee of $1,995 for standard branding or $25,000 for full branding on six platforms. After that, customers pay a monthly share of revenue.

"Building an enterprise-scale platform that excels in live market trials and deployments is significant," says Raj Jaswa, Dyyno's chief executive officer and president. "At Dyyno we have built the industry's most comprehensive and scalable TV Everywhere platform from the ground up, and with a single goal: to offer the fastest way to monetize any content, anywhere, on any device."
