Strawberries an' stream

While the company has been involved in the bespoke streaming advertising space for some time, this off-the shelf banner should widen its target market, according to the company. It was soft-launched for Filmfocus two weeks ago.

Hendrik van Iterson, Strawberries new business manager said: ‘We are currently talking to Adlink, and Doubleclick next week, and hope to begin rollout immediately.'

A one-off banner will cost around Euro 1750, and allows a user to clickthrough the whole banner, rather than just a small section as has previously been the case. However, the company does not anticipate hosting too many of the banners, said van Iterson, ‘I thought this would be the case, but having talked to companies like MSN and Coke, they were totally against the idea – it certainly makes our job easier!’

He continued: ‘We developed this because we have a great demand for this already – two companies have specifically come to us for it, as no-one else in the Netherlands can provide this spec yet.’

Amsterdam-based Strawberries also provides services such as webdesign,interactive formats, strategic consultancy and hosting.
