Edel Entertainment Selects Digital Security System

ViaTech Technologies (www.viatech.com) announced that edel Entertainment, a newly established North American arm of European record company edel Music AG ( www.edel.com) , has signed on to use ViaTech's eLicense System for its new digital music e-business initiatives.

ViaTech touts its eLicense System as a secure way to distribute digital music with built-in e-commerce capabilities, allowing the user to listen before they buy, purchase and e-mail it to a friend.

ViaTech's has been producing security solutions for software products since 1995. The company recently leveraged that experience to create a solution that manages and protects other digital content sold over the Internet.

"We've found that ViaTech's eLicense System provides a complete end-to-end solution with the best consumer experience. We plan to utilize eLicense as a key component of our digital e-business strategy moving forward,'' explained Ron Urban, president and CEO of edel Entertainment.
