Virage Announces Broadband Licensing Agreements With PBS, Lifetime, Chalk.com and Yahoo!

Virage (http://www.virage.com) announced deals with broadcast companies Lifetime and PBS to use Virage's video search products and services. Yahoo! and Chalk.com were the other two deals signed.

PBS, Lifetime and Chalk.com will be using Virage Interactive's servicesto make their video searchable.

Yahoo! and Lifetime joined Virage's Campaign 2000 video search service. Virage has partnered with C-SPAN to make all of its presidential campaign video searchable. Then they let web sites license the service to use on their own web sites.

Additionally, Chalk.com will use Virage to syndicate their video content across affiliate sites.
