Eastern Europe Webcasting Record

Hambar 18 Media Production had 10 TV stations from Romania, Hungary and Moldavia encoded and webcasted in Real Video live during the New Year and Y2k weekend.

This is the first event to integrate content across a few countries in the region, and a local distribution record with over 20.000 succesfully served streams.

The technology partners of this event were the webcasting pioneer company Ituner.com and the webcast dept. of KPNQwest.

Hambar 18 also webcasted live from the maximum duration point of the total solar eclipse of August 1999 and is planning to launch 2 new live Internet-only streaming media sites of East European orientation in the second quarter of 2000. Hambar 18 Media Production http://www.hambar18.ro
