The Berlin start-up DemoUp works has just released a report outlining the most effective methods of product video integration and the influences that videos have on the performance of online shops.
‘The Ultimate Guide to Ecommerce Videos in 2016' was written to inform online merchants who want to know more about integrating ecommerce videos into their online shop. It provides advice on product video procurement, integration, SEO and KPI tracking.
The report contains the findings that online shops that integrate ecommerce videos see an increase in add-to-cart conversion rates of up to 87%. This means that those who watch product videos convert 87% more than those who do not watch product videos. The average view rate is that 11.4% of visitors to a product page will play a video, whilst the average attention span is that a viewer will watch 85% of a video.
