DaCast Offers New Interface and Features

While self-service video streaming company DaCast is only two-months old, it isn't wasting any time waiting to make improvements. Today, the company announced a new version that offers a simpler interface and more features.

The redesigned interface is more graphical, making it easier to learn for new users. Those users will also appreciate the new online wizard, which breaks getting started in live video into four steps.

While DaCast still offers streaming backed by EdgeCast Networks, this new version offers additional support to make encoding easier. The service continues to offer the same monetization and analytics features.

"After only two months, DaCast is proving its strength with over 400 sign ups from people looking for an easy-to-use, all-in-one solution for their live streaming needs. To reinforce this position, DaCast is going into the new year with increased functionality that is backed by an even easier to use interface," says Stephane Roulland, CEO of DaCast.

"The new version of the platform is focused on making broadcasting as easy as possible for our users. Doubling the conversion rate between users and clients gives us a leadership position in ease of use for streaming live content," Roulland adds.

DaCast says it will add several other new features in the next month. The company is based in San Francisco, California, with an office in Paris, France.
