Virage Opens U.K. Office

Virage announced that the it opened its first European full-service facility at Pinewood Studios, Buckinghamshire.

Thefacility will be used to provide Internet video application services to Virage's European customers.

To head this new facility, Paul Newton, formerly media consultant for CapGemini, joins Virage as Virage Interactive Services Manager. "I am confident thatthis state-of-the-art European facility, coupled with Virage's vision and thesuperior quality of our products and services will enable the company tostrengthen its position as a premiere provider of technologies and servicesfor video on the Internet," says Newton.
