Streaming21 and the Fantastic Corp. to Integrate Technologies

Streaming21 (http://www.streaming21.com) and The Fantastic Corp. ( http://www.fantastic.com) said they would integrate their technologies today creating a streaming and distribution solution.

"By combining Fantastic's distribution technology with Streaming21's highly scalable video and audio streaming solutions, together we can distribute, manage and deliver broadcast quality media content over any Broadband IP Network," said Dr. David Du, CEO of Streaming21.

The companies have been working together on other projects. "Bringing the two companies' technologies together allows for Fantastic-enabled networks to broadcast data to S21 media servers positioned at the edge of any broadband IP multicast network," said David Wilf, CEO of Fantastic USA.

The solution will be targeted at the entertainment, corporate intranet and other broadband markets.

"VOD solutions are the most efficient means for delivery of content in locations such as hotels, airports, airplanes and other environments utilizing broadband wireless networks. We are excited to be in the sweet spot of this industry with our combined solution," said Wilf.
