Rivercast Reselling DoTell's Streaming Services

Net Technologies (www.nette.com) said it announced an agreement with European streaming company Rivercast AB ( www.rivercast.com) to resell its DoTell phone/streaming service.

Rivercast is the first reseller and application service provider (ASP) of DoTell in Europe.

DoTell is Nette's streaming service that allows any user with a phone to create an Internet broadcast. DoTell takes live calls or pre-recorded messages and converts them into streaming files.

"We chose to make DoTell technology available to our clients because of its superior sound quality, scalability, flexibility and a user friendly interface for both administrators and users," said John Sheridan Reed, Founder and President of Rivercast AB. "DoTell will make our RiverTalk service even more attractive, adding a host of applications to the service, including up-to-date reports from the financial world, live coverage of sporting events and concerts, press conferences, internal and external communications within companies, and more."

Nette's main competitor is TellSoft, which offers similar services. Both companies have been releasing new features and improvements recently, creating a very tightly competitive sub-sector. The two companies even launched slideshow services around the same time last month.
