GEO Interactive Opens for Business in U.S.

Israeli-based GEO Interactive (http://www.emblaze.com) announced it opened a U.S. office in New York today.

GEO is the maker of a Java-based streaming media system called Emblaze. The company is looking to leverage this technology into wireless and cellular networks.

"The U.S. market represents a tremendous opportunity for us and we areexcited about bringing our proven technology and solutions to this market,"said Naftali Shani, Chairman of GEO Interactive Media Group Ltd. "It is ourmission to become the leading global provider of video and audio streamingtechnology over wireless and IP networks."

Sasson Darwish, Executive Vice President of Strategic BusinessDevelopment, will head the U.S. operation. He was most recently the vice president of Lehman Brothers' Global TechnologyGroup.

"Our success here in the U.S. will greatly strengthen our global marketshare of the wireless video and audio streaming market," said Darwish."The U.S. market growth and potential is enormous and we have the fullintention to be a leading provider of audio and video solutions to themillions of wireless subscribers here."
