Tuesday March 7th is "Fat Tuesday" and every one knows what that means:Mardi Gras!!! So get on over to Bourbon Street in Louisiana. But if youcan't make it out there this year you might want to give this site a visit,Mardigras.com.

Mardigras.com offers many amazing streaming features that make it thepremier Mardi Gras site on the net. Those of you not totally up on yourMardi Gras facts might want to check out this other (mainly text) site ( http://www.nawlins.com/mardi.html)which spells out everythingyou ever wanted to know about the event.

MardiGras.com has live and archived streaming video footage fromstrategically placed video cams along Bourbon Street and other locations.Additionally the site allows you to search each cam hour by hour from thepreceding day.

Cameras include: BourboCAM which allows you to see 'round-the-clock actionlive from Bourbon Street, KaraokeCAM which is coverage of would be starsfrom a local bar, "Cats Meow". (This was my favorite cam by far.) BeadCAMwhich allows people to watch beadhunters, OysterCAM, a camera in the "AcmeOyster House" and finally the RiverCAM which allows you to check the riverboats moving along the Mississippi.

Viewers can also see a picture of where all the cams are streaming from (itslocation in respect to the area). Pretty cool! The site also tells you thebest time for viewing that particular cam. Pretty handy!

One note of advice: make sure you chose the video option because there isalso a still picture option, which refreshes every 20 seconds.
