Creative Commons Licensing Toolset For Digital Media

Here's the license itself, which is embedded in the verification page as a HTML comment:

Most of the tags are self-explanatory, but there are a few that might need further explanation.

•The rdf:about tag specifies a Universal Resource Name (URN), which is a hash value generated from the file itself. The URN is a unique identifier for the file, no matter how many times it's been copied or where it's stored. URNs are used by peer-to-peer (P2P) software to identify and search for files. Perhaps the easiest way to generate one for your work is to open it with a P2P client and view the file's properties.

•The dc:identifier tag contains the URL to a copy of your work on the Web.
•The dc:type tag refers to the basic media types defined by the Dublin Core metadata initiative. Valid values include Sound, Text and Image. Use the Image type for video as well as stills.
