New: Server-Side Chroma Key
Virtual background replacement is now available and handled entirely in the cloud, with no client-side software required. A single production setup can serve multiple branded environments simultaneously. This is useful for live casino operators running many concurrent tables, or any use case where the same stream needs to appear differently across markets or contexts. Because processing happens on the server, results are consistent regardless of the viewer's device or the conditions at the capture end.
This capability is part of nanoStream Studio, the AI-powered video enhancement core of the nanoStream platform.
MOQ Now Available Across All Browsers
nanocosmos was the first vendor introducing Media over QUIC (MOQ) into live production at global scale in 2025. MOQ is now supported across all major browsers, including Safari, with no changes required from viewers.
This completes its rollout as a universally accessible transport layer. MOQ delivers improved resilience under variable network conditions and lower effective latency compared to legacy protocols. Combined with nanoStream Live’s global CDN and sub-500ms delivery, the full benefit is now available to every viewer, on every device.
nanocosmos is also a contributing member of OpenMOQ, supporting the broader adoption of this emerging standard.
Advanced Security Tools and Full Content Control
nanoStream Control expands the platform’s security model across prevention, detection, and response. New capabilities include enhanced IP and CIDR filtering, real-time anomaly alerts, token revocation, and active session termination. nanoStream Control gives operators the tools to identify and shut down unauthorised access before it affects viewers or revenue.
