Viaway expands Cloud for accessing content across Samsung Smart TVs, Nook, Kindle, Roku Players, Android Smartphones, Google TVs and PCs

San Diego(03 May 2012)

The announcement comes on the heels of Viaway Cloud recent launch on Panasonic Smart TVs, Nook Tablets, Kindle, Android-based smartphones, Google TVs and PCs.

The use of Cloud service provides the flexibility to work with your digital content like music, movies, videos on many different devices - WITHOUT syncing them using USB or Bluetooth - thus leveraging the strengths of each devices, "ultimately enabling new levels of user satisfaction and productivity", according to Gartner.  Gartner Special Report says that the personal cloud will replace the personal computer as the center of users' digital lives by 2014.

"My favorite thing about our Cloud service is that I can take all videos of my daughter that I took with my mobile phone, upload them to the Cloud and watch them on my flat screen TV a few moments later. Anywhere I go, I can share my special memories with my friends and family," Viaway's founder Vlad Kroutik said.

Updated Viaway version also features new TV & Video on-demand service and offers access to the huge library of free and paid content. U.S. Internet users watched an average of 21.8 hours of online video content in February, according to a report by comScore. There's no doubt that consumption of media streaming on devices, especially on connected TVs, will be growing exponentially.
