Total Webcasting Pivots with UConn to Virtual Events

Total Webcasting partners with UConn to Deliver an Engaging Experience

New Paltz(30 Jul 2020)

Total Webcasting, together with University Events and Conference Services (UECS) at the University of Connecticut (UConn), co-sponsored the 5th Annual UConnference on July 22-23. Addressing the drastic changes to the landscape for conferences, events, and meetings caused by the onset of COVID-19, this year’s conference was titled “How to Successfully Pivot to Virtual Events.”

The first day of the conference provided overviews and answered some of the most burning questions about creating and planning a virtual event, including how to choose the proper technology platform, event design and content strategy, maximizing user experience and engagement, and how to market a virtual event. Day two featured deeper investigations into these topics. Total Webcasting President Robert Feldman provided his expertise as a guest speaker on both days of the conference.

Total Webcasting’s comprehensive solutions fittingly helped ensure that this year’s UConnference was a success. Not only was the entire program webcasted live on Total Webcasting’s platform, but live polling and viewer participation (i.e. submitting questions or comments during the live event) helped engage the audience throughout the two-day program.
