Streamlabs Collaborates With Intel to Power Integrated PC Platforms Optimized For Live Streaming

Hardware Partners And Manufacturers Assembling These Devices Include Shuttle, SimplyNUC, Zotac, And Acer

San Francisco(25 Oct 2018)

Today Streamlabs, the leading free to use live streaming application built for professional streamers, has announced details on new, integrated PC platforms optimized for live streaming in collaboration with Intel.

Assembled by leading manufacturing and hardware partners, the new computers dedicated for live streaming will be powered by Intel® Core™ processors and come pre-loaded with Streamlabs OBS, the free software from Streamlabs that gives streamers the tools to better engage with their fans, grow audiences, and improve monetization. This is the first time Intel has worked closely with a live streaming software provider to elegantly blend hardware and software in a way that makes streaming more accessible for everyone. It is intended to solve a growing user problem: Many gamers want to stream their content but the setup process can be intimidating and it’s difficult to know what PCs to buy or software to download. With these devices, users can enjoy an out of the box solution that automatically optimizes the streaming settings and is ready to live stream as soon as the device is turned on.

Hardware partners and manufacturers assembling these devices include:

  • Shuttle: Shuttle Computer Group makes live broadcasting easy and affordable with everything users need in one off-the-shelf box. Simply plug in the included webcam and headset into Shuttle’s super-small computer, connect to a monitor, power up, log on, and gamers, makers, how-to gurus, and performers have an instant streaming platform. Powered by Intel with an i5 processor, Shuttle’s new off-the-shelf broadcast bundle offers fast processing speeds for smooth, consistent video; Streamlabs’ reliable desktop streaming application is pre-loaded for quick interactive connection to any streamer’s audience. Available in Q1 2019.

  • Simply NUC: EasyCAST Powered by Streamlabs is an incredibly powerful live streaming device powered by an Intel® Core™ processor and packed into a 4x4 inch design with world class service and support from Simply NUC. The EasyCAST is up for pre-order now at www.simplynuc.com/easycast and will be shipping later this year for as little as $29 per month on its innovative Device as a Service (DaaS) financing model.

  • Zotac: The new ZBOX MI553B Series preloaded with Streamlabs OBS blends speeding performance with powerful live streaming software. The device, powered by Intel Core processors, combines superb calculating power with embedded video capture functionality to cater to the demanding multitasking needs of the prosumers engaging in the booming broadcasting market. The ZBOX MI553B will be available in Q1 2019. For more information, please visit https://www.zotac.com/us.

  • Acer: At the upcoming TwitchCon, Acer will unveil a concept PC built for live streaming. Featuring Intel Core processors, the device includes hardware and software optimized for low latency streaming, providing an elegant solution that empowers creators to express their creativity, connect to their community and share their gameplay online.

“These devices help simplify the streaming process and enable creators to connect to a worldwide audience more efficiently than ever before,” said Ali Moiz, CEO of Streamlabs. “This represents an opportunity for us to fulfill our vision and help content creators turn their passion into a business.”

Furthermore, Streamlabs is quality testing performance before each device goes to market and affixing its seal of approval in the form of a Streamlabs badge on the outside of certified devices. Intel’s Quick-Sync-Video encoder has been optimized with Streamlabs OBS and will automatically import optimal settings to provide quality bit-rate, audio, resolution, and FPS.

“At Intel, we view live streamers as creators, and we are committed to working alongside industry leaders like Streamlabs to build technologies and solutions that power their contributions,” said Chris Silva, General Manager, Desktop Product Group at Intel. “By powering these new PCs, we not only help streamers easily share their creativity, but we enhance the viewer experience to allow them to consume, personalize, and interact with their favorite live streamers."

New devices will be showcased during TwitchCon at Streamlabs booth #340. For a full schedule of events at TwitchCon including giveaways and panels please visit https://streamlabs.com/.
