ClickStreamTV Streams Grandma’s Marathon Live at the Finish Line
ClickStreamTV partners with Stokes Media House to live stream racers as the cross the finish line of the 35th Annual Grandma's Marathon.

This past weekend, ClickStreamTV (www.clickstreamtv.com) teamed with Stokes Media House (www.stokesmediahouse.tv) to do a live video stream of the finish line of the 35th Annual running of the Grandma's Marathon (www.grandmasmarathon.com) in Duluth, MN.
Held each June, Grandma's Marathon began in 1977 with 150 participants and has grown to over 17,000 participants for the weekend festivities. Dave Stokes, Vice President of Stokes Media House provided the video production for this year's event.
"Grandma's Marathon has grown to be the 17th largest marathon in the United States, and we wanted to provide an outlet for family and friends not able to attend a convenient way to watch their runners cross the finish line." Stokes continued, "Teaming with ClickStreamTV provided an easy to use online streaming video solution that enabled us to broadcast our video out to the Internet live... people viewed the live stream from their PCs, laptops and mobile devices".
In reviewing the numbers, the marathon participants represented 49 states and 42 countries. "With using the ClickStreamTV system, we were able to gain viewers internationally for our non-profit marathon," Stokes said.
The live stream of the participants crossing the finish line for the one-day event produced over 8,000 viewers. Viewers averaged 22 minutes each and accessed the stream from not only their PCs but their mobile devices too.
