AVEQ Introduces AI Insights For Video Stream Quality Monitoring

AVEQ’s AI Assistant Enables AVEQ Surfmeter Dashboard to Deliver Complex Metrics Into Actionable Information

Vienna, Austria(09 Apr 2026)

AVEQ, developers of leading solutions for quality of video streaming and network monitoring, today announced the release of the AI Insights tool for its flagship AVEQ Surfmeter dashboard product. AVEQ AI Insights reduces manual data mining, allowing direct queries for specific insights in either English or German. The AI assistant is part of a new Surfmeter interface for clearer, more agile data visualization. AVEQ’s technology assesses the Quality of Experience (QoE) of your video stream with advanced metrics, helping your network detect problems, optimize services, and prevent customer churn.

The revised Surfmeter provides a unified view of everything that customers measure:

  • Video Streaming: Mean Opinion Score and KPIsfrom Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix, YouTube, and more
  • Web Performance: QoE score, page load time, FCP, LCP, and more
  • Network Diagnostics: Ping, DNS, traceroute, and HTTP probing results
  • Speedtests: Download/upload speeds and latency from various providers
  • Conferencing: Call quality from Microsoft Teams and Google Meet

“As bandwidths increase, we’ve noticed that customers are still not always getting optimal streaming quality from their ISPs. The value of intelligent, automated network data for measuring video quality is essential, and becomes more integral with the complexity of video streaming,” said Werner Robitza, founder and CEO of AVEQ. “Our new Surfmeter dashboard now incorporates the kind of AI assistance that our customers have needed, and the level of data integrity that provides instant solutions for network monitoring.”

AVEQ Surfmeter enables customers to dive into network data with flexible time ranges and aggregation intervals. Measurements can be grouped by multiple dimensions, so you can see how performance varies by client, what was measured, and other factors. Each measurement has a dedicated page that shows all statistics in one place, including drill-downs into video sessions and CDN performance. AVEQ enables easy configuration of measurements for network transmission and video streaming.

AVEQ will attend NAB 2026 in Las Vegas from April 18-22.
