Viddy -- an iPhone app that's like Instagram for video, letting users shoot and stylize 15-second clips -- has announced a collaboration with rapper Snoop Dogg to create the Snoop Pack. The pack lets Snoop's fan's give their work a Snoop-inspired look and soundtrack in just a few clicks.

The Viddy app is a free download and runs on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Launched in April of this year, it offers visual effects such as black and white, crystal, hued, vintage, and 3D, all of which are easy to apply. Users can then share their creations on the Viddy network, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Tumblr. They can also use an embed code to add Viddy videos to any site.

The Snoop Pack includes original graphics that give videos a smoky layer, as if someone is the video were smoking quite a lot. It can also add a Snoop Dogg instrumental soundtrack. Visit the Viddy site to see Snoop's own videos created with the pack.

"The music business is changing - it's about being creative in new media outlets, on the digital level, in social media," says Snoop, "and with the Snoop Pack Viddy has created, fans get an interactive way to relate to me as an artist - I'm encouraging them to become artists on their own by creating Viddy clips with this Production Pack."

Viddy has announced that other artist-branded production packs and filters are in the works.
