Blinkx Adds TV Guide Videos
Online video search engine Blinkx announced today that it's adding exclusive TV Guide content to its video library. Site visitors will be able to find and view videos showing red carpet fashions and behind-the-scenes interviews on Blinkx.
Blinkx has entered into an agreement with TV Guide to share advertising revenue from the contextually relevant ads that it will place on the videos.
TV Guide videos will include celebrity coverage, interviews, award show reporting, and previews of what will happen on popular TV shows. Other videos will spotlight Hollywood breaking news and celebrity fashions.
The videos should find a welcome home on Blinkx, which has seen a lot of demand for celebrity coverage.

"With TV Guide, an institution in the world of entertainment coverage for over 50 years, viewers know they will only get high-quality, professional content featuring today's biggest celebrities, TV shows, and movies.
Blinkx currently has more than 720 content partners supplying media for its search engine. It has indexed more than 35 million hours of video and audio so far. The company is based in San Francisco and London.
Free app offers video search, as well as four editorially-chosen content channels.
API makes it simple for TV and device manufacturers to integrate Blinkx video content into their products.
Viewers will be able to search over 600 daily weather clips to get local or international reports.
