VidCon Taps The Dodo for First Ever Co-Branded Programming Section: “The Dodo Pet Zone”
Pet-Focused Programming Section “The Dodo Pet Zone,” Brings Together World’s Most Famous Animals at VidCon US

VidCon, the world’s largest celebration of online video and creators, and The Dodo, the #1 most viewed animal brand on digital (2.3B monthly video views) [Source: Tubular, March 2019], have teamed up to bring the first ever co-branded programming section, “The Dodo Pet Zone” to VidCon US on Saturday, July 13, 2019. As part of the Community Track, where fans can connect with their favorite online video creators across panels, parties, concerts and meet & greets, The Dodo will program six sessions featuring the Internet’s most beloved pets and pet parents including Nala Cat, Walter Geoffrey the Frenchie, and Norbert the dog. Fans will also be able to interact with the social media superstar animals during meet and greets.
“Pets and animals are such important parts of our lives and have been a key component of Internet culture since it began. As we look to celebrate 10 years of VidCon, we wanted to create a programming section dedicated to one of online video’s top categories and expand our featured creator pool to include fur, claws, fins, and flippers,” said Jim Louderback, general manager of VidCon. “We’re excited to work with digital’s top animal brand, The Dodo, to celebrate these online video stars and help our audience learn how to turn their own pets into online sensations as well.”
