Popcornflix Free Streaming Movie Service Expands in Canada

Popcornflix and FrightPix, the free streaming movie services from Screen Media Ventures, LLC, today launched an expansion of their platforms in Canada, giving film lovers three easy ways to enjoy 100 percent free movies: on the web, Google TV and a new Android mobile app.

Free Popcornflix movies are now available on the new Popcornflix channel for Google TV, in addition to existing access via the web, iOS and Android mobile devices, Samsung CTVs and Roku. Meanwhile, horror fans can now get their fright fix with the new FrightPix mobile app for iOS, Android smartphones and tablets, or online at

FrightPix is a 24/7 fright fest at the click of a button, with hundreds of free full-length horror movies ranging from totally terrifying to creepy, campy comedy, including films by Troma Entertainment and The Howling series, available on the web, Android and iOS.
