Delivering any data, anywhere, anytime, EdgeCast is the world's fastest and most reliable content delivery network.

Product Description

EdgeCast has 19 points of presence (POPs) on four continents (with three more coming in early 2011).

The selected locations are key Internet exchange and peering points, where the majority of the Internet traffic is exchanged between carrier networks.

At the heart of the stellar performance of the EdgeCast CDN is our EdgeDirector global load balancing technology, which uses our own routing algorithms to instantly route users to the POP nearest them.

EdgeCast supports on-demand and live streaming for Adobe Flash, Windows Media, iOS devices, and Silverlight (Smooth), and fast, clean HTTP Progressive.
