Teradek Announces New Rental Program for Full Line of IP Video/Streaming Products

Teradek's rental program will immediately offer complete Bond packages, which include a Cube encoder, Bond unit, a managed Sputnik server, power accessories, and three 3G/4G modems with unlimited data from the customer's operators of choice

Teradek, the world leader in compact HD H.264 video encoders and video transmission systems today announced a new Professional Services Division, as well as a comprehensive rental program that offers customers managed live streaming engagements with their full line of IP video products. Bundles are priced from $250 per week and increase with the addition of extra services and devices.

“We’re very excited to take another step toward by offering our groundbreaking solutions at a price that anyone can afford,” said Nicol Verheem, CEO of Teradek. “We believe our technology, especially our transmission systems, is the future of monitoring and live broadcasting, but the cost of a complete system has been a barrier for many small productions and independent video professionals. We intend to democratize live video contribution by making our systems affordable and by making our engagement model as simple as possible by providing unlimited data streaming for all of our product bundles. What’s better is if the products don’t work, you don’t pay.”

Teradek Professional Services will offer installation and support services for challenging productions that require Teradek’s unique insight in IP video based workflows. This division will offer the complete lineup of Teradek products and will manage every level of production to ensure the highest quality results.

Teradek’s rental program will immediately offer complete Bond packages, which include a Cube encoder, Bond unit, a managed Sputnik server, power accessories, and three 3G/4G modems with unlimited data from the customer’s operators of choice. For an additional sum, renters can upgrade to an HD-SDI encoder, add a Cube decoder, or add additional modems. In the near future, Teradek will expand its rental program to its entire line of products.

The Bond rental program begins on November 1, 2012. For more details, visit:http://www.teradek.com.
