FutureVideo Introduces Affordable V-Station HD Producer4 & Producer4S Multi-Channel Recorder/Switcher/Streamer Packages

Multi-Channel DVR pioneer FutureVideo Products, Inc. announced today the release of V-Station HD Producer4 and Producer4S Recording/Switching/Streaming Packages to its paradigm-changing multi-channel DVR range.

The new V-Station HD Producer4 and Producer4S Multi-Channel Video Recording/Switching/Streaming Packages provide project management, synchronized recording of up to 4 HD sources, camera input switching, EDL generation, and XML file transfer to leading NLEs. Both models are exceptionally flexible with 4 x HD/SD-SDI inputs--or the 4th channel can be used for either HDMI, computer video (VGA/DVI), analog video, or component video. Connection to the host PC laptop, desktop or Surface Pro is made by a single USB 3.0 cable.
Maximum recording resolution is 1080p30, with H.264 video encoding and mp4 file format. The software's powerful project and media management capabilities ensure all recordings and metadata are neatly stored--making lost clips or haphazard shot notes a thing of the past.

The V-Station HD Producer4S model adds built-in live streaming of its exclusive 5th-track line-cut recording to YouTube Live, Facebook Live, or as a private RTSP stream--plus direct FTP and YouTube file uploading.

According to Stephen Godfrey, FutureVideo’s Director of Business Development, “For budget-conscious users able to provide a compatible PC for their multi-cam projects, the V-Station HD Producer4 and Producer4S models are the smart answer. This is particularly true for "grab & go" shoots. Simply install the V-Station HD project management software on the PC or tablet, connect the multi-channel video recording USB interface to the PC's 3.0 USB port, connect your cameras, and you're ready to start production."

V-Station HD Producer4's USA MSRP is only $1,995; Producer4S is $2,495. FutureVideo offers Producer4 users an upgrade path to the Producer4S specification.
