WeVideo: Collaborative Video Editing in the Cloud

WeVideo's collaborative, browser-based editing platform has drawn the attention of investors and Google; here's a sneak preview of what you'll find in our full review, coming soon

WeVideo is a browser-based editing platform that focuses on collaborative editing among multiple users. The user interface can be customizable to fit a wide variety of needs for companies or institutions.

Users can work with all formats of video and have the capability of exporting in full 1080p HD.  WeVideo is a full-feature editor and offers text overlays, transitions, licensed music, and more - all in your browser.

Collaborative video editing in the cloud looks to have some use in run-and-gun style shooting projects, where multiple directors or producers may be working on the same project at the same time. WeVideo is riding this wave, recently garnering $19.2 millio in funding and an app for Google Drive in the Chrome Web Store.

We'll be posting a full review of WeVideo soon; for a taste, check out this brief demo shot at Streaming Media East.
