"We're constantly looking to innovate with new tools that help studios function better and more efficiently; it's why we've developed features like the Shotgun iPhone app, Client Review Site and Pipeline Toolkit," said Don Parker co-founder of Shotgun and Autodesk senior director. "There are also other ways we can help the Shotgun community thrive, and not asking studios to pay more for essential review tools they need to be successful is one of them."

The new pricing is effective immediately for all current and new Shotgun hosted subscription customers; additional details about the RV integrated toolset will be available in April upon release. Customers opting for the $30 per account/per month "Awesome" flavor of Shotgun get access to email, online and community support; "Super Awesome" support Shotgun for $50 per account/per month comes with advanced levels of support that include video conference and direct access to support engineers. RV will continue to be supported as a standalone tool, and pricing for standalone versions of RV, RVIO, RV/RVIO bundle, RV-SDI and RVX remain the same.
