Matt Strauss serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Comcast Interactive Media. In this role, he leads Comcast's online and multiplatform entertainment and media businesses - key compo- nents to the company's mission to deliver content to its customers anytime, anywhere. His responsibilities include the popular online destinations Xfinity.com and XfinityTV.com, and the company's mobile applications. Mr. Strauss has worked for more than 17 years in programming and emerging media, and has significant experience working with the television and movie studio programming community to develop and distribute multiplatform enter- tainment. Previously at Comcast, Mr. Strauss served as Senior Vice President, New Media for Comcast Cable where he was responsible for content acquisi- tion and strategy for Comcast's Signature On Demand platform, Internet prop- erties and emerging interactive platforms. He also has held strategic roles at Rainbow Media, where he led its acquisition strategy for new and traditional media; and at Disney/ABC, including serving in the Strategic Planning depart- ment for the ABC Television Network.
