Scott Barnett is presently the Director of Web Communications at Fairfield University and has a diverse and extensive background in both academia and business. Formerly, he was an Interactive Producer for the D.L. Ryan Companies, Wilton, CT, and an Interactive Producer at Modem Media, now Digitas, in Norwalk, CT.

Scott has led web teams on development projects for corporations large and small, for such diverse clients as the United States Marines, IBM, Subway, Dove and several minor league baseball teams.

Barnett has chaired the Interactive Student Competition of the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) and been a regular presenter at BEA conventions. He has also presented at the Digital Hollywood Media Summit New York.

Barnett holds an M.A. in Educational Media from the Fairfield University and also a M.S., Computer Science from Quinnipiac University. He obtained a B.S. in Television & Radio Production from Syracuse University in 1982.
