Chris Carvalho heads up Business Development for Lucasfilm and leads the company's strategic analysis of Digital Media and new technology - internet, mobile, gaming, digital cinema, visual effects and animation, among others. Chris has identified all the major business partnerships associated with Lucas Online, including ones with established companies like Yahoo, Google, Apple, and AOL and startups like Eyespot, Homestead, and TalkCity. For the Online division, Chris has been the driving force creating the strategic shift behind StarWars.com‚s move from a marketing site to a profitable business with advertising, subscriptions, shopping, and downloads. He also forged the first company deals in the mobile and video download space. Chris has served as a speaker at numerous events including Digital Hollywood and the Stanford Graduate School of Business Future of Content Conference.
