Thomas Kramer is vice president of product management for Rovi's MainConcept-branded solutions which include Rovi's MainConcept® codec SDK for the H.265/High Efficiency Video Codec (HEVC). Thomas joined Rovi in connection with Rovi's acquisition of Sonic Solutions where he served as vice president of product management for MainConcept-branded products. In this position, Thomas led the product team as well as customer care and quality assurance functions, and was responsible for driving commercial codec licensing for consumer products. He joined MainConcept in June of 2004 as software engineer of codec development. He also served as manager of Application Engineering with the company, responsible for field customer support of the company's codecs and managing the product line.

Previous, he worked as a freelancer for eleven years where he managed a variety of software development projects in the software, banking, and archiving businesses
