WildBrain.com Gets $20 Million

After getting $6.5 million in August 1999 San Francisco-based animation content provider Wild Brain (http://www.wildbrain.com) announced a $20 million investment from Interfase Capital Partners, LP.

The money will be used to develop content including a an original computer-animated film tentatively-titled "Hubert¹s Brain".

"This second round of support validates our efforts and the vision we¹ve hadfor the company from the start," stated Jeffrey C. Ulin, Wild Brain's ChiefExecutive Officer. "With wildbrain.comwe're building a new type of network and creating one of the first majordigital libraries of Web-based entertainment; in fact, we believe we're thelargest producer of original entertainment on the Web today.

Interfase Managing Partner Scott Hyten stated, "We have been astounded atthe speed with which the US and International markets have embraced WildBrain's entertainment content and we're happy to aid the company byproviding this additional round of financing."

Participating with Interfasein this round are Franz von Auersperg, founding board member of Germanentertainment giant EM.TV (recent purchasers of Henson in the US), and SteveHicks, vice-chairman of the US media conglomerate AMFM. Steve Hicks has alsojoined the Wild Brain board of directors
