EyeWonder Expands Mobile Advertising Options

Article Featured Image

As a sign of how mobile video is growing in importance, EyeWonder, a digital advertising company owned by Limelight Networks, has announced an expanded roster of mobile video advertising options. EyeWonder's options now include all Mobile Marketing Association (MMA)-recommended rich media, video, and standard ad formats. The company can reach select smartphones on AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular, and supports HTML5-based advertising to reach iPhone and iPad owners.

The new mobile lineup includes expandable ad formats that work on all Javascript-enabled devices (including the iPhone, iPod Touch, and Android devices), ads within browser-based apps, and HTML5 ads.

New video ad options for the iPhone and iPod Touch will work in those device's browsers.

Customers will be able to get reliable metrics for their mobile campaigns, as the lineup includes measurability and engagement data such as click-through rates, device types, number of video views, and average time to first interaction.

"With over five billion mobile subscribers worldwide and the explosive growth of smartphones in the market today, there are new opportunities for advertisers to reach consumers that haven't been available before," says Michael Griffin, executive vice president for marketing and strategic development at EyeWonder.
