CCBN Launches Video Webcast Service

CCBN (www.ccbn.com), a provider of Internet-based shareholder communications services, announced the launch of its Video Webcast Service. The service provides public companies with a solution for delivering media-rich communications over the Web.

Audio streams of earnings conference calls have taken off, and CCBN is hoping that companies will be interested in taking it to the next step with video.

"This is the new media solution for the new millennium, and definitely the direction the Internet is moving,'' said Rob Adler, president and co-founder, CCBN in a statement. "Adding video capabilities to our online investor relations service offerings demonstrates CCBN's ongoing commitment to provide customers with the latest, state-of-the-art technology to enhance shareholder communications over the Web.''

Their new tool offers live video/audio, synchronized slides, and interactive elements like chat, live Web links, Q&A, and polling and is being targeted towards companies for annual shareholder meetings, corporate announcements, product launches and press conferences. CCBN will offer live interactive streaming video, as well the ability to archive events to deliver information for on demand replay.
