As live streamed video events become more important to content providers, brands, and viewers, it seems a natural that someone has created a turnkey solution for delivering live events online. Live event strategy consultants Bulldog Digital Media has partnered with festival production company Springboard Productions to create Festival Pass Live, a comprehensive solution for capturing and distributing live events.
Created with multiple stage outdoor music festivals in mind, Festival Pass Live lets event organizers deliver several streams at once, so that viewers can choose the stage they want to watch. The solution streams high-definition video and works with mobile devices. It also includes social networking features, so viewers can tweet or comment about the acts they're watching.
Festival Pass Live lets event organizers rebroadcast video or create highlight clips, and can include links for merchandise and touring schedules.
Springboard has produced the online video for Coachella, Lollapalooza, the Austin City Limits Festival, and the Latin Grammys. Bulldog includes AEG Digital Media veterans who have helped stream the Oscars, Grammys, the Royal Wedding, and the American Express Unstaged live concert series.
