Be Here Partners With NFL, ESPN Internet Group

If you can't get to the Super Bowl, why not try 360 degree wide angle video over the Internet? It may be the next best thing to actually being on the 50 yard line.

Be Here ( http://www.behere.com), makers of their own panoramic 360 degree video system, announced a partnership with the National Football League and ESPN Internet Group to offer live and pre-recorded video feeds of Super Bowl XXXIV at SuperBowl.com (http://www.superbowl.com).

Be Here's iVideo system captures full-motion video and lets the user control the view within a 360 degree environment. It will provide live and pre-recorded 360 degree streaming video feeds of key Super Bowl events, allowing viewers to control their view of events by manipulating their own virtual camera. Any number of simultaneous viewers can independently create a personalized experience of Super Bowl activities.

"Be Here offers the next best thing to being in Atlanta. We'll take online viewers into the midst of the players during Tuesday's Media Day, to the entertainment and concert events leading up to the game, and right into the Georgia Dome on Super Bowl Sunday to see behind-the-scenes action," said Ted Driscoll, Be Here's President and CEO. "Our iVideo technology gives football fans worldwide a highly engaging and interactive viewing experience, enabling them to control their view of the events and feel like they are truly `here' in Atlanta."

To view the immersive webcasts, you need the RealPlayer 7 and Be Here's iVideo Play! software extension that is available from RealNetwork's AutoUpdate service.

"Be Here's iVideo technology lets anyone become an active event participant by controlling what action they view online, regardless of if they can be physically present," Driscoll added. "We are revolutionizing the way consumers experience events online."
