XLIVE Esports Summit Announces Inaugural CEO Throwdown Competition + NFL and Electronic Arts (EA) Join Roster of Industry Execs

Only a few weeks stand before XLIVE brings its highly-curated Esports Summit to New York City this August 22-23. Just ahead of this summer’s hottest summit for professional sports team owners, Esports athletes, tournament organizers, and anyone within the booming Esports industry, XLIVE is rolling out new activations and adding on more speakers to this year’s bill, including the first-ever CEO Throwdown.
Taking place in the hub of the XLIVE Esports Summit, the inaugural XLIVE CEO Throwdown will pit high-ranking Esports execs against each other to showcase their skills, passion for gaming and thirst for competition, to benefit a charity of their choice. Pulling out all the stops, XLIVE is bringing a surprise, all-star Esports personality to hype the crowd and competitors alike, broadcasting the contest live on the summit floor. The winning team will receive well deserved bragging-rights and a generous donation, which will be made on their behalf to the charity they competed for.
Who will win the CEO Throwdown? The potential winner could come from one of many of the globally recognized companies in attendance at this year’s event which total upwards 250+. Previously announcing the additions of heavy-hitters from companies such as ESL, Buffalo Wild Wings, Twitch, and the NFL to engage attendees, XLIVE has now further unveiled a second round of speakers and panelists repping FIFA, ESPN, the Big Ten Network, and Superfly just to name a few!
XLIVE will offer Esports insiders the opportunity to engage with top-level experts on the exhibition floor and during scheduled panels and intimate fireside chats. A new addition to this year’s stacked program, the directors of XLIVE welcome SVP and General Manager for EA’s Competitive Gaming Division Todd Sitrin to take part in a fireside chat alongside Christopher Halpin, Chief Strategy Officer & SVP — Consumer Products of the NFL.
