MGW 2000 is a TV streaming platform designed to enable organizations to deliver rapid and reliable TV to the desktop across their enterprise networks.

New features that have been added to the new version of MGW 2000 optimize the platform for video streaming in the financial services sector. Version 2.9 adds a special traffic shaping feature, which allows DSL, WiFi, T1/E1 and Satellite provider to optimize the video transmission while maintaining the best video quality. In addition, the MGW 2000 includes 6-channels of video encoding, an integrated multicast and video on demand (VOD) interface, low latency encoding and playback options which include popular desktop players such as Media Player, RealOne and QuickTime; stand alone players like the Optibase player and QuickVideo player; and set top boxes running the QuickVideo BizTV client.
