Acme Video Solutions Introduces Acme Go

Acme Go by Acme Video Solutions is the newest all-in-one portable solution for live production and streaming

Azusa, CA(06 Jun 2017)

Today, Acme Video Solutions, a division of Acme Portable Machines, Inc., is proud to announce Acme Go, the newest solution for live production and streaming. Acme Go is the continuation and updated model of the discontinued vMix Go. It improves on the previous generation by boosting processing power, adding functional updates, and designing aesthetic improvements. Acme Go is now officially up on the www.acmevideosolutions.com site and available for purchase through a network of resellers.

Overview

Acme Go is a complete portable live production solution. With up to 8x HD-SDI, 4x HDMI, and even 4K inputs, producers can mix resolutions and frame rates, along with embedded and separate analog audio. Stream your production live to the web, Facebook, YouTube, and other popular destinations using widely supported formats. Acme Go is compatible with Telestream WireCast, vMix Pro, and our own software, LiveStudio. These options provide producers with an ideal environment based on their production needs or skill set.

Acme Go is a powerful workstation platform. This platform includes an Intel i7 CPU, powerful Nvidia graphics card, DDR4 Memory and speedy NVME SSD system drive. All Go systems come standard with keyboard, mouse and a wheeled transit case with telescoping handle for convenient storage and transportation.

Acme Go comes in three models: ACME GO 4/4, ACME GO 4/4K, ACME GO Plus.

Acme Go 4/4 – 4x HD-SDI video inputs with embedded audio and 4x HDMI video inputs with embedded audio

Acme Go 4/4K – 4x HD-SDI video inputs with embedded audio and 1x 4K HDMI video input with embedded audio

Acme Go Plus – 8x HD-SDI video inputs with embedded audio

Built-In Display

A built-in 17.3” display allows for easy setup on-site. You can also take advantage of the additional LCD display capability through DVI-D, HDMI, or DisplayPort. Use the additional LCD display for multiviewer and other complementary applications. For in-venue IMAG output, using one of the display outputs provides almost zero latency with excellent HD image quality.

Powerful GPU

The Acme Go comes standard with Nvidia GeForce technology (Go Plus GTX 1080, Go 4/4 and 4/4K GTX 1060) to provide horsepower for complex video productions, both live and post. The compatible live switching software options are specifically tuned to provide ultimate performance with discrete Nvidia GPU technology for rendering and video graphic effects. System stability is also enhanced as important functionality normally handled by the CPU on competing systems is assisted by the powerful Nvidia chipset. Users no longer have to worry about stability in mission-critical live production environments.

Robust, Professional Video I/O

Video input and output is delivered using best-of-industry AJA and Magewell technology. Pro-level 3G HD-SDI inputs allow for long cable runs with locking connectors. Configurations are available in 8x SDI (Go Plus), 4x SDI/4x HDMI (GO 4/4) and 4x SDI and 1x 4K HDMI (Go 4/4K). Inputs are auto-sensing meaning you can bring in different formatted frame rates and frame sizes with the switching software without additional rendering into a common format. The SDI ports also provide live program output for cable, satellite or local distribution.

On 4/4K units, the additional 4K HDMI input provides the ability to ingest 4K camera footage. The primary use case is called Region of Interest capture (vMix feature) and works by carving out 720p/1080p slices from the high resolution, 4K image space to mix and match with standard HD camera inputs. The effect allows a single camera operator or director to control multiple "shots" virtually.

Removable SSD Slots for ISO Recording

All Acme Go models include six removable SSD storage slots enabling ISO recording of all live camera inputs. There are no requirements for custom cartridges or expensive vendor-provided storage. Purchase readily available SSD storage for recording the full program output as well as individual camera feeds using ISO recording.

The Acme Go Plus includes 2TB of SSD removable storage, formatted and ready to go out of the box. Also included is a redundant "failover" drive in case of Windows failure during a live event (uses one of the removable drive bays).

Balanced XLR / TRS Audio I/O

Professional Neutrik combo jacks provide balanced XLR/TRS inputs and XLR outputs for connecting legacy analog audio mixing consoles and other equipment. This eliminates the need for external DAC device converters. Additionally, for producers who prefer to use external pro digital devices, with USB ports on the front I/O panel, there are plenty of connections available for almost any audio scenario you can envision.

Live Production Software

All Acme Video Solutions systems are compatible with a wide variety of production software but are specifically configured to work closely with Telestream Wirecast Studio or Pro, vMix HD or Pro and our own LiveStudio. Call your reseller to assist with the decision if you are unclear about which software will provide the best feature set for your needs.

Additional Software Compatibility

As a Windows-based media production platform, Acme Go provides a unique Return on Investment by allowing you to produce a live event and then turn the computer into a solid post-production and/or graphics workstation. Load up your copy of Adobe CC or Avid and create additional deliverables using media already captured and ready to edit. Use Photoshop and Illustrator to create unique titles, lower thirds and scoreboards to give your productions individuality and professionalism. Even load Microsoft Office to use PowerPoint or Excel screens for presentation output.

Pricing

Acme Go 4/4 is priced at $9,995 USMSRP. Acme GO 4/4K is priced at $9,995 USMSRP. Acme Go Plus is priced at $12,995 USMSRP.

International pricing may vary. Different product bundles or customization options are also available. Contact Acme Video Solutions or a reseller for details.
